What if Pinocchio came to
Sicily? What would he find? What would he think? Pietro Sciortino
approached this question from his unique perspective, based on
the Sicily of myth and legend. A place peopled by nedusa's and
mermaids. At left Pinocchio is shown with the other marionettes
of the Cuticchio's puppet theatre in Palermo. And, of course,
Pinocchio gets married to Pinocchia. |
